One of the oldest designs of Czech smgs first introduced in the 1930s. Manufactured up to 1948 and continued in use until the 1960s. Very well made from machined parts with refinements such as a bipod, quick change barrel and variable rate of fire the ZK 383 could double as a light machine gun. This weapon was sold to Bulgaria, Brazil and Venezuela. Yhis example carries stampings from Venezuelan army.
