The FN Factory produced various forms of the Browning Automatic Rifle in the 1930s for sale around the World. After World War Two FN produced the Type D which features major improvements such as the quick change barrel and rate reducing mechanism. The Type D has a rapid method of field stripping, the Type D was used by the Egyptian and Belgian armies and sold to several Latin American countries.
