One of the best light machine guns of the Second World War. Designed by the Mauser engineers of the Orbendorff Plant the MG34 was an immediate success and issued to the German armed forces up to 1945. Although an excellent design the MG34 was expensive and took a long time to manufacture with many complex machinery processes. Superceded by the MG42. '936' on receiver is manufacturer code for BSW
