Biography:

1. Henry Wright (2) was first employed by the Board as a casual Labourer in the Engineers' Department on the 7th May 1814. He was a 22-year-old bachelor living in Waltham Abbey, who was paid 2/4d per day and had previously trained as a Butcher (W054/520 dated the 20th February 1817).
