Biography:
1. William Wolstenholme started as a Carpenter at Waltham Abbey on the 14th April 1826. His rate of pay was given as 4/1d per day, i.e., £63.18.1d annually. He was not entitled to a house or quarters, and was aged 57. He was a widower with 7 children, and had been brought up in the Carpentry trade (WO54/558 dated 1st April 1827).
2. WO54/558 dated the 1st October 1827 contained no basic alterations from the previous Return.
