Biography:
1. William Tyler was a Master Mason by trade set to work by Daniel Cornish in October 1787 at 9/- per week, possibly renovating the Mills following their purchase by the Government from Mr. Walton. It would appear he was not retained once his work was completed (Winters' Centenary Memorial, p.28).
