Biography:

1. John Turnham (2) was employed as a Cooper by the 1st September 1810, and was paid 2/6d per day, but was not allowed to watch (Supply 5/228). 2. He was still employed as a Cooper in August 1812, with his pay then increased to 4/6d per day and not allowed to watch (Supply 5/229 dated the 29th August 1812). 3. The same pay and conditions applied on the 13th February 1814 according to Supply 5/230 of that date.
