Biography:
1. Thomas Sarson was employed by the Board as a casual Labourer in the Engineers' Department on the 4th January 1817. He was a 31-year-old married man living in Waltham Abbey, who had two children, was paid 2/4d per day, and had previously trained as a Brass Founder (WO54/520 dated the 28th February 1817).
