Biography:
1. Edward Roof was employed as a Millman and earned 3/-d per day. In addition, he was allowed 6d per night when on duty (Supply 5/229 dated the 29th August 1812).
2. Mr. Roof was still a Millman on the 13th February 1814, with the same rate of pay and additional 6d per night when on duty (Supply 5/230).
