Biography:

1. John Rapley was a Refiner in the Salt Petre House, earning 2/-d per day. At January 1806 he had 6 months' service, and "when not working allowed to watch in turn." (Supply 5/224 dated the 30th January 1806). This was also the case in June 1807 (Supply 5/226).
