Biography:
1. William Randall was paid 17/-d for 7 days' work as a Bricklayer in the Engineers' Department between the 15th and 21st July 1809, inclusive. (Supply 5/228 dated the 21st July 1809).
2. List of Employees dated the 29th August 1812 recorded that Randall was now a Millman earning 3/-d per day, in addition to which, he was allowed 6d per night when on duty (Supply 5/229)
3. He was still a Millman on the the 13th February 1813, with the same rate of pay and additional 6d per night when on duty (Supply 5/230).
