Biography:
1. Edward Pellold is believed to have been a Millman because of his rate of pay of 2/-d per day. For an unknown period from the 13th April 1789, the Millmen and general Labourers were engaged in cutting a new canal at the new Corning House, as well as cutting willow trees and loading barges, etc. (Supply 5/213 dated the 18th April 1789).
