Biography:

1. John Parish (2) was a casual Labourer in the Engineers' Department earning 2/8d per day for a six-day-week (WO54/512 dated September 1812). 2. Supply 5/230 dated the 13th February 1814 recorded that John Parish was a Clerk of Survey's Labourer earning 2/8d per day, and that he was allowed to watch in turn.
