Biography:

1. Benjamin Mayall was employed as one of the "Respective Officer's Labourers," i.e., he worked as a Labourer for one of the senior staff on site and was earning 2/-d per day. He was also allowed to watch in turn (Supply 5/227 dated the 23rd August 1808).
